Job Summary

Technical Merchant Boarding Specialist at Nuvei will lead the end-to-end onboarding and configuration of merchants on our payments platform. You’ll work across multiple payment gateways and back-office systems, ensure data accuracy, validate end-to-end payment flows, perform KYC/KYB checks, and collaborate with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Engineering, and Operations to deliver secure, smooth merchant go-lives in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Perform initial merchant data entry across multiple internal systems, CRMs, and payment platforms with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
•Build and configure new merchant records across gateways, processors, mobile payment solutions, wireless terminal activations, and software data sheets.
•Configure payment gateways, POS integrations, hosted payment pages, tokenization, recurring billing, and terminal deployments.
•Execute test transactions and validate end-to-end payment flows prior to merchant go-live.
•Request creation of new pricing tables and update backend systems as required.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in technical onboarding, implementation, solutions engineering, or similar role.
•Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and authentication methods (OAuth, API keys).
•Experience with payment processing, e-commerce platforms, or fintech integrations.
•Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Strong project management and organizational skills.
