Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in implementing scheduled workplace safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are closed with relevant departments.
  • •Inspect all facility areas for unsafe/unhealthy conditions and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • •Support contractor safety management including safety induction and Permit To Work (PTW) monitoring to ensure compliance.
  • •Implement plant incident management and first-aid/emergency equipment readiness (first aid rooms/equipment and emergency equipment like SCBA/AED).
  • •Provide first-aid treatment and support emergency evacuation drills for night shifts as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or attending a Safety and Health Officer Course or OSH Coordinator program.
  • •Preferably 1–5 years of experience in contractor management or incident management.
  • •Registered OSH Coordinator is an advantage.
  • •At least 1–3 years involvement in manufacturing operations.
  • •Very good English and Malay (spoken and written).
