Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with raw meat products (ham), including bone-in ham production tasks.
  • •Rack hams by placing heavy items on racks and manage rack positioning using bending, twisting, stooping, and standing as needed.
  • •Push racks (approximately 800–2000 lbs.) to other locations within the department and assist with moving/turning racks.
  • •Perform processes such as tipper tie clamping, cutting tails, netting canisters, and placing casings on horns.
  • •Support other production activities including slop lifting (5–25 lbs.), stuffing raw product, operating pallet jack/forklift activity, wiping ceilings, and using a rake to feed pump machines.
