Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee Automation, Instrumentation, and Electrical activities within plant facilities, including direct supervision of I&E and SCADA Support Technicians and contractors.
  • •Drive improvements in Process Safety Management, preventative maintenance, employee development, efficient operations, and equipment reliability.
  • •Provide technical leadership to the I&E group and prepare reliability plans for critical Electrical/Power/Instrumentation/SCADA systems.
  • •Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and critical repair activities for electrical/power/instrumentation/SCADA systems.
  • •Support operations to minimize downtime and collaborate with process engineering, project engineering, and Operations Excellence on safety, optimization, and expansion initiatives, including annual budgeting and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the insurer.
  • •Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, and expenditure reporting for the I&E team.
  • •Knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems up to 12470V, including switchgears, motor starters, and VFDs.
  • •Knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and iFIX.
  • •High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technology discipline.
