Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake 3D modelling for wind engineering projects, including wind tunnel testing and computer simulations.
  • •Build 3D surface models of city/site surrounds and 3D models of buildings with required detailing.
  • •Create 3D models for CFD projects, including internal spaces for different building typologies with specified detail levels.
  • •Model complex topography (e.g., riverbeds and coastal settings) for Water CFD simulations.
  • •Coordinate with WSP wind engineering and CFD teams, agree drawing strategy/priorities, and follow QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in 3D modelling for wind tunnel models and related wind engineering work.
  • •Proficiency with Rhinoceros and .stl files for 3D modelling workflows.
  • •Good working knowledge of Revit and ability to use standard functions.
  • •Ability to work across multiple projects across different sectors.
  • •Clear understanding of industry standards and the role of consultant engineers.
