Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on flight simulators and associated equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues, including visual alignments and calibration.
  • •Run and evaluate Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures and other diagnostic tests.
  • •Support simulator modifications, upgrades, refurbishment, and engineering change implementations; interpret schematics, system drawings, and technical documentation.
  • •Conduct pre-flight/post-flight checks, monitor simulator performance, assist with technical recovery, and maintain accurate maintenance records using the maintenance management system.

Key Requirements

  • •A technical trade qualification, diploma, associate degree, or equivalent training in electronics, avionics, electrical, mechanical, IT, or a related field.
  • •Typically 2–5 years of relevant technical experience in simulator maintenance, aviation, defence, industrial automation, electronics, or a similar environment.
  • •Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, or computer-based systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
  • •Proficiency using diagnostic/test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer networking/software systems.
