Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform engineering studies to improve Energy Center reliability, performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • •Conduct field inspections, monitor operations, and provide preventive maintenance recommendations to optimize assigned equipment maintenance.
  • •Implement codes and standards to ensure Energy Center compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and support continuous improvement as System Owner for assigned equipment.
  • •Optimize reliability and cost using predictive technologies, PI system data, and industry associations in collaboration with Energy Center personnel.
  • •Develop engineering solutions, estimates, and maintenance/repair specifications; prepare reports, job requisitions, work orders, and maintain records and drawings; support off-hours call-outs as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • •Energy Center experience preferred.
  • •Boiler experience will be considered a plus.
  • •Demonstrate strong analytical skills and human relations, with written and oral communication skills.
  • •Ability to work overtime and handle off-hour call-outs as necessary; travel between energy centers across Missouri and the St. Louis area required.
