Job Summary

Build and optimise secure, high-performing Snowflake-based data ecosystems for clients. Develop batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines, design data architecture and modelling approaches, and ensure governance, security, and quality. Work closely with architects, developers, analysts, and client stakeholders (up to Head of Data Engineering and Chief Data Architect) while applying best practices and technical leadership to drive adoption and measurable success.

•Engage with clients to deliver Snowflake-focused data solutions and support adoption of delivered outcomes.

•Collaborate with architects, developers, ML engineers, analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure best practices.
•Maintain quality, governance, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle and solutions.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5–8 years in data engineering, data warehousing, or data architecture roles, including 3+ years working with Snowflake.
•Strong hands-on expertise developing ETL/ELT pipelines and building cloud-native data platforms focused on Snowflake.
•Proficiency in Snowflake features including warehouses, Snowpark, data sharing, and performance tuning.
•Hands-on skills with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Matillion, Talend (or equivalent), plus strong SQL and Python (or equivalent).
•Experience with data governance, security, and compliance, and familiarity with data modelling methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, star schemas).
