Job Summary

Lead and mature the privacy compliance program while supporting the development and execution of AI compliance efforts as Thumbtack’s products evolve. Own and operate compliance processes including DPIAs, regulatory audit workflows, data mapping, consent management, and AI governance. Partner with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations to embed requirements into workflows, track commitments, escalate risks, and provide training and guidance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and mature privacy and AI compliance programs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
•Own and operate core compliance processes including DPIAs, regulatory audit workflows, data mapping, consent management, and AI governance.
•Operationalize legal requirements by partnering across Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
•Track compliance commitments, identify gaps, and escalate risks for timely resolution.
•Develop training, documentation, and guidance to increase organizational awareness and continuously streamline compliance processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 84,200 - 108,900

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in privacy compliance, data governance, risk management, or related fields.
•Strong working knowledge of U.S. and global privacy laws and emerging AI regulatory frameworks.
•Experience leading complex, cross-functional compliance initiatives from planning through execution.
•Hands-on experience with DPIAs, privacy tooling, data mapping, consent management platforms, and system integrations.
•Solid understanding of compliance program management, internal controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
