Job Summary

We are seeking a processes engineer with 6-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects to design and optimize process systems for Wood’s OGNE unit in Bogota. You will develop process documentation, support simulations, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on large energy projects, using HYSYS, Pipephase, InstruCalc, and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop typical engineering documents across conceptual, basic, and detail phases (e.g., process descriptions, material and energy balances).
•Prepare process flow diagrams, block diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and service and decommission diagrams.
•Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (API, ANSI, ASME, NFPA) and client specifications.
•Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure engineering integrity.
•Perform any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor in line with company needs.

Key Requirements

•6-8 years of experience in engineering projects within Oil & Gas
•Proficiency with process simulation and design tools: HYSYS, PRO II, STONER, Pipephase, InstruCalc, Autodesk DWG TrueView
•Base location Bogotá, Colombia
•Knowledge of engineering documentation and PFD/P&ID reading
•Fluency in English at least 75% desirable
