Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement a comprehensive school counseling program to promote student success across academics, social-emotional development, and college/career planning.
  • •Meet quarterly with students on caseload to review graduation plans and post-secondary options.
  • •Deliver classroom instruction aligned to student success standards and support students with course placement recommendations (including AP).
  • •Analyze student data to develop data-driven intervention action plans and provide short-term counseling with referrals as needed.
  • •Work collaboratively with teaching staff to build and audit four-year graduation plans; support standardized testing, parent education, and staff development.

Key Requirements

  • •Idaho Counselor Certification and School Counselor License.
  • •Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in counseling and/or advisement.
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based search engines, and database systems.
  • •Master’s degree in school counseling and experience with distance learning.
