Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement search architecture for the Unified Partner Experience and customer portal platforms.
  • •Deploy, configure, and optimize Solr, Elasticsearch, and/or Alibaba OpenSearch for multi-region search workloads.
  • •Develop search relevancy models, including scoring, boosting, synonyms, and query analysis.
  • •Build search APIs and pipelines, including indexing, faceted search, auto-complete/type-ahead, and AI-enhanced search features.
  • •Monitor search performance, relevancy metrics, and user behavior to continuously improve search quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or Elasticsearch, including cluster management, schema design, and query tuning.
  • •Experience designing search relevancy models (scoring, boosting, synonyms) and indexing pipelines, including ETL processes.
  • •Proficiency in at least one backend language such as C#, Python, or Java.
  • •Understanding of NLP fundamentals for search, including tokenisation, stemming, and entity recognition.
  • •5–8 years of experience in search engineering or information retrieval delivering production-scale search.
