Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a tractor trailer combination or truck (26,000+ GVW) to transport and deliver equipment and materials to assigned locations.
  • •Operate loading/unloading equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, hand lifts, hydraulic lifts, wheel loaders) and secure materials for transport.
  • •Follow dispatch instructions for delivery/receipt, maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions, and check that vehicles and equipment are properly positioned.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in line with state and federal regulations.
  • •Obtain delivery receipts/signatures and ensure documentation is complete and accurate; provide backup or assistance in the yard as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (depending on available position).
  • •Hold a valid Medical Card.

  • •Maintain no more than two moving violations and no more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
  • •Be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to use or learn automated systems (e.g., electronic logs).
