Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes, aligned with the curriculum.
  • •Plan and organize engaging learning, resources, classroom provisions, and displays; embed Al Mamoura Academy Teacher and Learner DNA throughout the curriculum.
  • •Take responsibility for class progress using assessments and data (including Target Tracker) to inform planning, provision, and intervention.
  • •Manage classes effectively and follow the school’s behaviour policy, maintaining positive relationships with pupils and acting decisively when required.
  • •Communicate with parents and carers on progress and wellbeing using school systems/processes such as CPOMS, including feedback at Parent Teacher Conferences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or another teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check or police check.
