Job Summary

Safely handle and move lumber products while verifying they meet customer and company requirements. Stack and bundle finished materials to predetermined sizes, label items by type/size/count, and apply tags before or after treating/production. Use equipment such as a staple gun, maintain accurate tag inventory, record production on sheets, and keep the work area clean. Assist with loading/unloading carts and participate in safety and CI programs.

•Safely move and secure lumber products and other materials according to instructions.
•Stack finished products into predetermined bundle sizes and/or per customer requirements.
•Label materials by type, size, and count; apply individual tags before/after treating/production.
•Use tools/equipment such as a staple gun; band, bundle, secure material, attach corner protectors and loading sticks.
•Maintain accurate tag/inventory records, report discrepancies, record production, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
•No minimum experience is required; manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred.
•Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Ability to follow stacking and labeling instructions and company policy/customer requirements.
