Key Responsibilities

  • •Build detailed production schedules, run-of-shows, staffing plans, and event documentation.
  • •Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, hotels, caterers, rental companies, AV partners, transportation providers, and other vendors.
  • •Partner with teams across YC on registration, guest communications, and credentialing.
  • •Manage allocated event budgets, processing invoices and contracts with financial diligence.
  • •Coordinate security plans and work with city agencies and public safety partners to obtain permits; be hands-on on-site for load-in and load-out.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional event production experience.
  • •Have personally led complex events from beginning to end as lead producer/executive producer (not primarily in a supporting role).
