Key Responsibilities

  • •Use AI tools daily for code generation, review, debugging, and design exploration to increase delivery speed without compromising quality.
  • •Write and review architectural plans, then participate hands-on in implementation with the team.
  • •Solve complex technical problems in your service/domain area and escalate cross-team tradeoffs when needed.
  • •Perform code reviews and mentor engineers on high-quality code review practices.
  • •Own technical decisions and help establish engineering practices for the India PDT team as it grows, partnering with product, designers, and global engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
  • •Marketplace product experience and familiarity with scaling multi-sided platforms.
  • •Hands-on proficiency with modern AI development tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, code-review copilots, agentic dev tools) to speed delivery without harming code quality.
  • •Strong full-stack expertise: backend development with Python (services, APIs, data-driven systems) and frontend development with React and TypeScript.
  • •Demonstrated leadership to set technical direction, mentor engineers across levels, and influence product and business decisions.
