Key Responsibilities

  • •Derive radiation environments for mission profiles using CREME96, OMERE, SPENVIS or similar tools.
  • •Evaluate customer radiation requirements for TID and SEE, including Single Event Effects.
  • •Assist with evaluation of electronic parts for new and existing designs.
  • •Develop test plans, assist with test set up construction, and support test harness design.
  • •Coordinate test hardware procurement and provide TID/SEE results analysis to program, product, and systems engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or directly related non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • •Topical knowledge of radiation environments for TID, Displacement Damage, and SEE, and knowledge of radiation effects on microelectronics.
  • •Ability to read and analyze schematics.
  • •Strong understanding of electronic parts selection and development for designs.
  • •Willingness/ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship.
