Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, diagnose issues, and order parts.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis.
  • •Assist training of lower-level technicians and help with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, plus field service/maintenance/repair experience preferred; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, and must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
