Job Summary

Develop, design, and analyze components and rotating machines with a focus on mechanical engineering. Own technical solution concepts considering standards, cost, sustainability, and environmental aspects, and perform sizing and calculations for strength, tolerances, bearings, and FEM. Support project planning with time/cost estimates, conduct risk assessments and FMEAs, contribute to specifications, and work with suppliers while maintaining technical documentation.

•Support project planning with schedule and effort estimates; perform risk assessments and FMEAs and help with specifications.
•Provide supplier technical support during development and industrialization and maintain technical documentation (drawings, 3D models, SAP data, reports).

Key Requirements

•Completed degree in mechanical engineering, design engineering, or a comparable technical qualification with a focus on mechanics.
•Multi-year experience in the development and design of components and machines, ideally rotating machines.
•Strong knowledge in mechanical design and calculation (e.g., strength, tolerances, bearing engineering, FEM).
•Confident use of CAD systems and technical drawings.
•Preferred: experience with Creo or CATIA; familiarity with standards, guidelines, and development methods.
