Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding, including managing advisor prospect pipelines, preparing paperwork, opening accounts, and transitioning new assets to Baird while establishing ongoing client service plans.
  • •Answer incoming calls and handle client needs, advising Financial Advisors on actions taken.
  • •Maintain client relationship management (CRM) systems and use reporting/mailings/e-mail tracking to implement client service models.
  • •Assemble and generate materials for client meetings and support appointment scheduling and meeting/conference room coordination.
  • •Initiate and complete transactions to service client accounts per advisor/client instructions, including potentially entering security orders and proactively reviewing daily investment opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam and Series 7 plus Series 66, or Series 63 and Series 65, or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented, accuracy-focused approach while maintaining client confidentiality and compliance.
