Job Summary

Assist newsroom teams across the KNTV/KSTS station and related areas by helping identify and pitch stories, follow leads, support fact-checking and story development, and find/clear visual elements. Participate in all manner of news gathering, including identifying sources/experts, pre-interviewing subjects, logging breaking news, and helping with assignments across sports and general news. Interns work 20 hours/week from the San Jose station during Fall 2026.

•Contribute to newsroom placements including sports, assignment desk, and general newsroom; be prepared for night/weekend shifts.

•Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution for the entire internship duration (recent graduates not eligible).

•Must be willing to work in San Jose, CA.
