Job Summary

Lead and scale Quince’s recruiting function in Palo Alto as a player-coach, partnering with senior leaders to drive workforce needs and critical hiring goals. Own high-priority technical searches, build rigorous intake-to-close search strategies, improve interview operations and hiring process quality, and raise evaluation consistency and slate strength. Use recruiting data and talent intelligence to diagnose funnel bottlenecks, improve execution, and enhance local branding and onsite hiring experiences.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and scale a team of recruiters by setting priorities and raising recruiting craft standards.
•Partner with leadership to drive business priorities, workforce needs, and critical hiring goals.
•Own high-priority technical searches and personally drive select critical roles, including senior leadership and business-critical positions.
•Build and execute end-to-end search plans from intake through close, including role calibration, market mapping, sourcing strategy, assessment design, and closing plans.
•Improve interview operations and hiring process quality using data to track funnel health and recruiting outcomes, and raise the hiring bar across technical processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 185,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of recruiting experience, including meaningful experience managing or leading recruiters and/or sourcers, ideally across G&A, Tech, and/or Product teams.
•4+ years of managing and leading recruiting teams.
•Proven success hiring for teams in high-growth, high-bar technology environments.
•Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic talent partner to senior leaders, influencing hiring strategy, role design, prioritization, calibration, and decision-making.
•Strong understanding of recruiting fundamentals across sourcing strategy, talent mapping, candidate assessment, interview design, funnel management, and closing.
