Key Responsibilities

  • •Build Harvey’s government affairs and public policy function, including strategy, engagement framework, and policy messaging.
  • •Own policy stakeholder relationships with policymakers, regulators, bar associations, judicial bodies, and legislative/regulatory institutions.
  • •Develop and maintain Harvey’s policy narrative on AI governance, the future of the legal profession, responsible technology deployment, and access to justice.
  • •Serve as a strategic bridge between the external policy environment and Harvey’s product and go-to-market teams.
  • •Hire and lead regional government affairs managers and set up operational infrastructure such as stakeholder tracking and regulatory monitoring.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 260,000 - 350,000 annually

  • •Progressive depth in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory work, including experience building or expanding a function from a standing start.
  • •A policy-first orientation focused on educating policymakers and building credibility through substance, not access.
  • •Demonstrated ability to build strategy and stakeholder relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Deep, trusted relationships with senior government, regulatory, and institutional stakeholders in the legal/AI context.
  • •J.D. strongly preferred.
