Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform NBIS bridge and NTIS tunnel inspections and prepare required inspection reports.
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze site and engineering data (surveys, blueprints, GIS, geotechnical, hydrologic) to support project development, design, and construction.
  • •Apply structural and civil engineering techniques to investigate site conditions and ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, and permits.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, safety and phasing plans, and update infrastructure layout plans in coordination with stakeholders.
  • •Oversee local inspection staff, mentor junior team members, and lead larger-scale structural projects including budgets, hours/expenses, and subcontractor supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred; PE required).
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience performing bridge inspections and structural assessments.
  • •Experience performing inspections in accordance with NBIS and NTIS.
  • •Experience planning and coordinating bridge inspection field activities, including scheduling personnel and coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
