Key Responsibilities

  • •Review production orders and execute start-up, run, and shutdown processes for assigned equipment and packers.
  • •Manage all processes, equipment, and packers on assigned lines to meet production, quality, and quantity standards.
  • •Assure proper set-ups and quality checks are performed; follow up to ensure product is produced to specifications and documents paperwork.
  • •Organize work for smooth operations and train packers/machine operators on quality checks and the blown film production process.
  • •Maintain safety and housekeeping standards, adhere to Environmental Health & Safety programs, and troubleshoot/advise on equipment and quality issues.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, or two years of previous blown film-manufacturing experience.
  • •Strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot extrusion, bag machines, and winders.
  • •Knowledge of blown film basics, including extruder drives, heaters, controls, and startup/shutdown of production lines.
  • •Ability to train operators on quality checks, gauges, length/width/weight, and the full blown film production process.
  • •Valid Amcor forklift license and ability to perform physical demands of a twelve-hour shift and overtime when needed.
