Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform highest-level vehicle diagnostics and repairs, including major and technically difficult work, overhauls, and rebuilds.
  • •Diagnose and repair vehicle systems (e.g., brakes, A/C/heating, electrical charging, clutch, cooling, starting/cranking, lighting, drive axles).
  • •Perform diagnostics and repairs across powertrain systems (e.g., transmission and driveline, engines, fuel systems) using appropriate tests and service procedures.
  • •Diagnose and repair electrical and related concerns using wiring diagrams/schematics and tests (e.g., continuity, voltage drop, amp draw, short/parasitic draw).
  • •Provide leadership by coaching/mentoring other grade technicians, track vehicle information, and assist with general shop duties and customer service.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in the field.
  • •Must be able to perform all lower classifications (Mechanic I, II & III).
  • •Require all eight (8) certifications A-1 through A-8, including Brake, Tire & Wheel, A/C battery charge and check, Warranty, and Laser Alignment.
  • •Perform major and technically difficult diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls/rebuilds in a timely manner.
  • •Provide coaching/mentoring skills and help develop other grade technicians.
