Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and support commercial contracts, procurement, and negotiations in an NEC environment.
  • •Lead post-contract commercial activities including payment approvals, cost assessments, and contract changes.
  • •Provide procurement support: advice on procurement strategy, tender preparation and evaluation, and contract preparation.
  • •Deliver post-contract quantity surveying tasks such as interim payment verification, certificates, change control, cost reporting and forecasting.
  • •Support project decision-making by assisting with early warnings, instructions, compensation events, progress meetings, and dispute resolution/contract close-out as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven quantity surveying and estimating experience, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • •Degree-qualified and working towards (or already holding) chartered status.
  • •Familiarity with NEC contracts and cost management best practices.
  • •Collaborative, proactive problem-solver who can adapt to challenges.
  • •Ability to work within commercial and contractual processes to support value for money delivery.
