Job Summary

Join Boeing Commercial Airplanes on the 787 production line in North Charleston as a Composite Fabrication Specialist. You will interpret complex drawings, prepare surfaces, apply coatings and sealants, and operate lifts and hand tools in a 100% onsite, variable-shift environment. You’ll contribute to defect-free assemblies through strict safety and quality practices, teamwork, and precise use of production software.

•Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment in all tasks.
•Maintain rigorous quality standards and comply with regulatory and company requirements.

•Read, write, and speak English effectively and utilize electronic technical work instructions/drawings.
•Complete new hire foundational training to obtain and maintain required certifications and operate in a production environment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 54,000 - 64,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings or specifications and follow detailed work instructions.
•1+ year experience in manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field with basic hand, power, and/or pneumatic tools.
•Lift/carry up to 35 pounds; push/pull up to 45 pounds; reach overhead; climb stairs and ladders; bend and kneel as required.
•Work with high-hazard chemicals using proper protective equipment provided.
•Must be able to complete and maintain required certifications (Confined Space and Fall Protection if required) and have basic computer/app usage (Internet navigation, email, MS Office).
