Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and oversee structural drafters to ensure accurate, timely completion of fabrication projects within the EPCI industry.
  • •Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements, providing guidance for detailed structural design drawings.
  • •Perform quality control checks to verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • •Create and modify accurate 3D models and assemblies and develop shop drawings and BOMs using CAD tools (AutoCAD, TEKLA, Navisworks, Revit).
  • •Coordinate with engineering, project managers, procurement, and construction to resolve design conflicts and support materials requisition, vendor selection, and as-built drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •Supervise structural drafting work to ensure accurate and timely completion for EPCI fabrication projects, with 3+ years’ experience after relevant study or 7+ years as a Structural Drafter.
  • •Strong proficiency in 3D (Tekla) and 2D (AutoCAD/Microstation) structural drafting, modeling, and drawing extraction.
  • •Extensive knowledge of structural design codes and standards, including API, AISC, ACI, and ASCE.
  • •Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements accurately.
  • •Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve design conflicts while meeting tight deadlines.
