Job Summary

As an Applied (AI) Value Engineer in Celonis’ Value Engineering team, you partner with strategic customers to understand AI strategy and business challenges, prototype AI solutions, and demonstrate measurable value to executives. You’ll build within the Celonis Process Intelligence platform using SQL, PQL, and Python, run proof-of-value projects, and support adoption and value realization to expand Celonis footprint. The Orbit graduate program includes onboarding, mentorship, and targeted training.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand customers’ AI strategy and business challenges, translating requirements into innovative solutions using Celonis Process Intelligence.
•Prototype and build AI solutions for customer hackathons using Celonis platform capabilities and cutting-edge AI technologies.
•Support customers in achieving ROI from AI deployments at scale, enabling a shift to autonomous AI agents powered by Celonis.
•Execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects aligned with customers’ AI strategy and ensuring adoption and value realization.
•Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools for the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
•Extensive internship experience or 1-2 years of full-time work experience, ideally at the intersection of business and technology.
•Understanding of generative AI techniques such as RAG, prompt/context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning.
•Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) plus data engineering tools and technologies.
•Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Dutch.
