Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee credit underwriting responsibilities for analysts and associates, including financial statement spreading/validation and underwriting models.
  • •Conduct risk rating assessments, periodic relationship reviews, and partner on credit agreement review and negotiation.
  • •Own credit approvals (new customers, modifications, renewals, increases, and risk assessments) and identify key risks, issues, and policy exceptions with mitigants.
  • •Direct portfolio reviews, validate covenant compliance, and manage post-approval modifications to ensure accurate credit exposure reporting.
  • •Manage clients (day-to-day needs, contact meetings, and site visits), spearhead follow-up processes, and produce portfolio reporting/analytics including grade migration and past-due metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commercial Banking, or an equivalent/relevant program.
  • •8+ years’ experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking with formal Credit training.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with exceptional writing ability.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) to produce reports, memos, and presentations.
  • •Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
