Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as senior network technical authority for CONUS DHA networked facilities, with global coordination as required.
  • •Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN issues impacting availability, performance, security posture, and clinical mission support.
  • •Lead installation, configuration, documentation, management, tuning, and troubleshooting for routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPN devices, IDS/IPS, circuit connectivity, and related infrastructure.
  • •Use SolarWinds/Orion, ARMIS, Ansible, diagnostics, and packet/cabling tools to isolate root cause, restore service, and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Implement and document STIG-compliant configurations and IAVA remediation, coordinate network configuration and security changes, and provide regional technical leadership including escalation guidance and after-hours/on-site dispatch coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •Active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.
  • •Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus at least 5 years of directly related experience, or technical/vocational completion with 10 years of progressively complex experience.
  • •DoD 8570.01-M cyber workforce compliance; IAM Level III (or equivalent) plus CISSP (or equivalent) and CCNP required.
  • •Strong mastery of enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN networking and routed/switched environments using TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, and routing/wireless standards.
  • •Hands-on experience with Cisco infrastructure and tools including SolarWinds/Orion, ARMIS, Ansible, firewalls, VPN devices, IDS/IPS, and diagnostic/cabling testing tools.
