Key Responsibilities

•Develop concepts for new repair tool designs for Military Engine programs including the F119 and F135 programs.
•Present tool concepts to USAF and JPO customers for review and obtain customers approval to proceed to detailed design and tool build.
•Coordinate with suppliers and perform final checks of tooling developed at suppliers.
•Review tool drawings and develop tool usage instructions for end users.
•Present tools to USAF and JPO customers for final approval and acceptance for repair production.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math and 5+ years of related experience or 3+ years of related experience with an Advanced degree.
•Ability to read and interpret repair requirements, and engineering part prints
•Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
•Technical writing skills.
•Familiarity with typical repair and manufacturing processes including machining, grinding, and special processes including shot-peen, welding, brazing, riveting, and coating processes including plasma spray.
