Job Summary

Operate heavy and light quarry equipment to support safe, efficient movement of materials and maintain quarry access points. Conduct pre-operational checks, perform routine servicing, and keep work platforms and site areas clean and clear. Safely monitor and run the crushing plant as needed, assist with repairs and maintenance including basic welding/fitting, and report operational or environmental issues while strictly following OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate heavy and light mobile equipment, including skid steers, as trained to maintain quarry access points.
•Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing of assigned equipment.
•Conduct site clean-up with hand tools and keep work platforms clear and safe.
•Safely run and monitor the crushing plant as required.
•Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE compliance with OSHA/MSHA; assist with repairs/maintenance including basic welding and fitting as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
•Technical education or certificates in basic welding/fitting is a plus.
•State-approved welding certification is a bonus but not required.
