Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain relationships with broker partners and customers across industries to support business objectives.
  • •Apply Property & Casualty underwriting acumen to assess risk, evaluate exposure, and price new and renewal business for a profitable book.
  • •Serve as a customer advocate by understanding unique risks and offering end-to-end solutions for Property & Casualty insurance needs.
  • •Collaborate across business units including claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting to deepen expertise.
  • •Use technical underwriting and negotiation skills to grow and develop relationships with preferred distribution partners in an assigned territory.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 83,400 - 180,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent plus 5+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing (Executive Underwriter level); OR High School Diploma or equivalent plus 10+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support.
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (Associate Degree) plus 3+ years of Underwriting/Market Facing; OR 8+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support.
  • •Knowledge of line(s) of business and legal/regulatory guidelines, including time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
  • •Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
  • •Experience working in a team environment.
