Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble metal equipment components using handheld welding and oxy-cutting equipment (arc welders, gas welders, gas torches).
  • •Perform routine welding and fitting by applying heat to fuse/merge metal surfaces and components per DMOS procedure specifications.
  • •Inspect existing welds to identify weak or problem areas.
  • •Use welding equipment for metal cutting and trimming or to fabricate simple accessories.
  • •Execute production work to ALPS standards and participate in continuous improvement activities.
