Lead end-to-end visualization software development within R&D by managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and talent. Define and execute cross-Clinical Platform software strategy and vision, remove impediments, and drive agile adoption and continuous improvement. Ensure high-quality, compliant software delivery across legal, quality, security, and regulatory requirements. Provide hands-on technical reviews, stay current on relevant technology, and act as a key liaison with other functions to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage end-to-end design, development, delivery, and maintenance of software development within R&D.
•Lead multiple matrix organizations through software leaders; define cross-Clinical Platform software strategy and engineering strategy across value streams.
•Execute organizational strategy by setting success criteria, removing impediments, and serving as escalation point.
•Develop and lead high-performing teams via recruitment, staffing, goal setting, performance appraisal, and people development.
•Drive agile development adoption and ongoing improvement of software development practices while ensuring process compliance, quality, security, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
•Overall 15+ years of work experience, including 12+ years in people/program management in healthcare products domain.
•Proven ability to lead software development projects and meet objectives, goals, and commitments.
•Strong understanding of business needs with the ability to build and maintain customer trust.
•Good understanding of Project Management practices and the Scaled Agile Framework.
