Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and review fund budgets based on contractual agreements, fee proposals, and expense trends.
  • •Review ETF and client board of directors materials, including preparation and possible attendance/presentation.
  • •Review financial statements for ETF and other client shareholders and the SEC to meet GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements, serving as a liaison with internal teams, legal counsel, auditors, and clients.
  • •Ensure portfolio compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940, prospectus limitations, and internal revenue code guidelines; lead required financial reporting filings for the fund’s fiscal year.
  • •Mentor teammates/direct reports and help coordinate ad-hoc projects such as ETF/trust launches, ETF and related M&A activity, and fund liquidations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Five to seven years of related work experience (Fund Administrator 3) or eight or more years (Fund Administrator 4).
  • •Proven knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, and other investments and security types.
  • •Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and accounting principles, with an emphasis on ethics and compliance.
  • •Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to understand complex concepts.
