Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, subsurface utility information, maps, geotechnical data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction.
•Perform civil site design and analysis (grading, drainage, site layout)
•Stormwater Management - Design drainage systems, develop drainage reports, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), perform hydrologic analyses, open channel hydraulics and bridge hydraulics calculations, cost estimates and technical specifications.
•Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work.
•Verify the characteristics of a site, providing technical assistance on various engineering, design, and construction issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or closely related discipline. Masters degree preferred.
•7+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior civil design experience.
•Professional Licensure (PE).
•Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, processes, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
•Experience with discipline-specific design software: Open Roads Design, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, InRoads, Geopak, GeoSlope, ANSYS, STADD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS
