  • •Own the delivery roadmap for Communication Identity Domain, including customer services, internal APIs, and Ops Tooling, translating technical strategy into quarterly plans.
  • •Drive adoption of AI coding assistants across the team, measuring impact on velocity and enabling safe experimentation.
  • •Take full accountability for operational excellence: reliability, incident response, on-call health, and security posture for mission-critical services.
  • •Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team; coach engineers from mid-level through staff-plus using career frameworks and performance management.
  • •Partner with Product Management and dependent engineering teams to ensure seamless workflows, gather feedback on APIs and tooling, and communicate trade-offs and risks clearly.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering management, leading 10+ engineers and managing individual contributors.
  • •Strong hands-on background designing and operating highly available, cloud-native distributed systems for architectural reviews and technical proposals.
  • •Deep AWS ecosystem fluency (Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, Kafka) plus microservices patterns and infrastructure-as-code (Kubernetes, Terraform).
  • •Demonstrated experience driving AI tool adoption within an engineering team and articulating how AI improves delivery and quality.
  • •Proven delivery excellence and operational rigor, including shipping complex products with agile methods and owning reliability (incidents, on-call, SLO improvements).
