Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the TBICoE SME for mild, moderate, severe, and penetrating TBI across the full continuum of care.
•Review specialty SME quarterly reports and provide updates to leadership on emerging brain health areas and warfighter-relevant demand signals.
•Provide expertise/analysis to TBICoE leadership on TBI research, clinical care, and standards of care.
•Collaborate with TBICoE leadership, DoW health care policy offices and other SMEs to enhance metrics evaluation and standardization of TB I services and programs.
•May provide input for development of training platforms/tools and, when appropriate, provide direct training.

Key Requirements

•MD with state license; Board certification preferred
•5+ years of healthcare and/or healthcare research experience
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Knowledge of TBI and statistics
•Ability to pass a T3 security/background investigation
