Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build the core scoring engine as a typed, versioned computation graph (DAG) executed deterministically with clear boundary contracts.
  • •Model complex methodology logic (formula trees, categorical mappings, peer selection, comparability adjustments) as versioned, declarative data structures.
  • •Own system lineage, versioning, and execution auditability end-to-end to ensure identical score recalculation at any future date.
  • •Build clean, typed internal services and API contracts for the methodology workbench and downstream consumers.
  • •Establish rigorous testing practices (e.g., golden file testing, property-based testing, regression validation) to prevent calculation drift.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in expression tree and dependency graph modeling (ASTs, DAGs, cycle detection, topological sorting, memoization, selective recomputation).
  • •Advanced Python with strict typing discipline (mypy/pyright), strong testing and clean packaging practices.
  • •Proven experience building auditable, reproducible systems using immutable execution records, versioned schemas, and explicit data lineage.
