Key Responsibilities

  • •Occupy client or service roles involving sponsorship and/or strategic requirements for major programmes and portfolios.
  • •Manage client relationships and identify/realise business development opportunities.
  • •Lead or contribute to preparation of bid proposals or manage key bids.
  • •Define strategic direction and accountability to establish scope/requirements and ensure agreed outputs are delivered within cost and schedule tolerances.
  • •Provide governance, assurance, and compliance oversight; manage major risks, issues, and change to implement informed mitigations and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a sponsorship role for large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery projects, programmes, or portfolios in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • •Degree level education, membership of a relevant professional body, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of the project lifecycle, including business case development and mapping benefits and outcomes to project requirements.
  • •Experience navigating planning, regulatory, political, and environmental constraints.
  • •Strong commercial acumen with experience in investment planning, contractual/commercial negotiations, and ownership of financial status.
