Key Responsibilities

•Own definition, quality, delivery, and support for multiple memory compilers for all AMD products.
•Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand feature and timing requirements.
•Lead discussions with a 3rd-party vendor on next-generation memory requirements and ensure sufficient silicon validation.
•Lead in-house memory compiler development.
•Serve as the primary technical interface to a 3rd-party vendor supplying compiled memories and ensure compliance with AMD requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 187,200 - 280,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Proficient understanding of ROM/SRAM/TCAM architecture, operation, and requirements.
•Expertise in basic memory validation, including DFM, DRC, ERC, functionality, LVS, Spice checks, and trend analysis.
•Experience in enhanced memory validation, including EMIR analysis, physical integration, routing, and Spice characterization.
•Working knowledge of Verilog, liberty files, spice simulation, and ASIC design flows.
•Comfortable with script programming (e.g., C-shell, Makefile, Perl, or TCL) in a UNIX environment.
