Key Responsibilities

  • •Own manufacturing engineering tasking within the facility while ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations.
  • •Interpret manufacturing data (drawings and test schedules) to create manufacturing instructions within ERP and a digitalised manufacturing execution system.
  • •Analyse manufacturing problems and provide solutions and guidance to the shop floor team.
  • •Generate and maintain production routings and bills of material within the ERP system, including acting on engineering change notifications.
  • •Drive continuous improvement, reduce costs, increase repeatability, and support zero-defect activities (APQP, PFMEA, RCCA), including attending key tier meetings and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally in aerospace.
  • •Knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 21 or 145.
  • •Experience using MRP/ERP systems and document management systems.
  • •Familiarity with manufacturing processes; experience with PPAP/APQP and Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are desirable.
