Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and support SAP BODS production environments to ensure availability and reliable execution of business-critical ETL jobs.
  • •Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve ETL job failures, data load issues, and system performance bottlenecks while meeting SLAs and operational KPIs.
  • •Conduct root cause analysis for recurring production issues and drive permanent fixes and preventative measures to improve stability.
  • •Create and maintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides; support scheduled releases, migrations, and deployments.
  • •Communicate incident status, risks, and resolutions with stakeholders; support governance reviews and operational service meetings; ensure compliance with security/audit/data governance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •4–7 years of experience in data engineering, ETL support, or application support, including 3+ years supporting SAP BODS production environments.
  • •Hands-on expertise in SAP BODS administration, monitoring, scheduling, and troubleshooting for enterprise ETL operations.
  • •Strong skills in ETL failure/performance analysis and data quality issues, with solid incident and problem management experience.
  • •Strong SQL and database querying skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.) and ability to support data flows/workflows, job server, repository management, and batch job execution.
  • •Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys), production monitoring/operational dashboards, and ETL architecture/data lineage concepts.
