Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Supplier Industrialization Engineers, including objective-setting, hiring/onboarding support, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • •Own supplier industrialization from sourcing through Start of Production and post-launch stabilization, ensuring manufacturing readiness, process capability, capacity, quality systems, and milestones alignment.
  • •Drive completion of APQP and PPAP deliverables, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Safe Launch Plans, Run-at-Rate, and readiness reviews.
  • •Provide manufacturing technical leadership across die castings, aluminum castings, forgings, precision machining, gears, motor components, rotor and stator components, housings, structural metals, and drive unit assemblies.
  • •Lead data-driven risk mitigation, root-cause analysis, containment, corrective actions, qualification issue resolution, and maintain Master PFMEAs, AQRs, and lessons-learned repositories.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, supplier quality, supplier industrialization, or product launch, including 5+ years of people leadership and team management.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
  • •Strong command of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, Run-at-Rate, capacity validation, and AIAG Core Tools.
  • •Hands-on experience with metal manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining, heat treatment, assembly) with ability to assess readiness and resolve technical risks.
  • •Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% and communicate industrialization status, risks, and recovery plans effectively.
