Lead the development and validation of predictive and machine-learning models for business needs, using advanced statistics and quantitative techniques. Key Responsibilities

•Develop and validate predictive and machine-learning models using inferential statistics and prescriptive analysis to solve business problems.
•Handle large, complex, and less frequent problem statements and recommend solutions based on context, connections, and conclusions.
•Review deliverables and proactively coach others on approach and work product.
•Lead and evangelize best practices for capturing and retaining data, coordinating with data stewards and improving data procedures for efficiency.
•Communicate observations, technical theories, and model results to non-technical audiences and senior executives, including translating technical insights into business action.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,000 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (or equivalent) in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or another quantitative discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
•Strong understanding of best practices for capturing and retaining data, including pros/cons of competing analysis methods.
•Experience leading work by partnering to anticipate needs, leading information practices/policies/procedures, and setting standards for data analysis tools and techniques.
•Advanced skills with SQL/NoSQL and the ability to select and retrieve data, including unstructured data retrieval, archival, and ETL.
•Advanced programming ability with Python, R, and/or SAS, including efficient coding and translating code into high-level commentary.
