Job Summary

Control asphalt plant production and load-out by reading work schedules, operating equipment to meet the production plan, and monitoring mix quality. Maintain the plant through basic servicing, keep the control house and yard clean, and oversee truck scales and loading. Enter production information into computer systems and coordinate communications as needed. Also supervise plant employees and perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred, with 1–2 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).

•Ability to perform basic maintenance and service on the plant as required.
•Preferred: ability to weld using an arc welder or cutting torch.
•Drivers license required; CDL is a plus.
